Membership Commitment"I am making a personal commitment to donate $400 each year, $100 at each quarterly meeting, to charities serving those living in the Juneau Douglas community. I understand that even if the charity chosen is not my first choice, I will donate at each meeting. If I am not able to attend the quarterly meeting I will give my check to another member to deliver to the meeting on my behalf or I will mail my check after the meeting."
You may discontinue membership at anytime by sending us an email indicating your withdrawal. Once you become a member, you have the ability to nominate charities to be considered and vote at each meeting to determine the charity chosen to receive funding. Non-Profit "Pre-Qualification" Form
Any active member may fill out and submit a "pre-qualification" form for their chosen local non-profit. Forms must be received prior to our meeting as stated by email to all members. You may request and submit your form via email at 100wwc.jnu@gmail.com or by mail to 529 East Street, Juneau, AK 99801.
What qualifications does a non-profit need to meet to be added to list?
1. Be a 501(c)3 non-profit
2. Commit to using the award locally
3. Agree to come to the next meeting after receiving award and give a 5-minute presentation about how our money was put to work.
4. Agree not to use, give or sell the contact information of our members for additional solicitation by them or other organizations.
5. No political organizations, houses of worship, organizations whose mission is to spread a religious message, or individuals.
6. Understands that non-profits who receive an award will not be eligible for pitching again until a full year has passed.
